Branchiomycosis (Branchiomyces Sanguinis)

There are also other algal diseases of Koi: Fusarium Mycosis, Phytoplankton Chlorella, Prymnesium Parvum and green algae Cladophora.  We will not discuss these types of algal infestations in detail.  We will tell you that all 4 of them are caused by over-crowding, poor water quality and ponds with a high concentration of organic matter.  Ponds that are not maintained properly will suffer all of the above diseases.

Prymnesium Parvum is referred to as "Golden Algae" and is a big problem in TX, NM, AZ, CA and Canada.  Our Aqua-Gold will take care of the problem and has been tested by the NM dept. of fish & game with great results.
